Friends,

You might have heard some news of the outrageous pay grab by the PA Legislature. The top leadership just got raises that were almost equal to the annual per capita income of PA residents.

That's right. Annual per capita income is around $34,000 and these jokers (the top of the food chain) just voted themselves raises of about $34,000 bringing their salary to approximately $145,000 plus all of the perks and benefits and their more than generous pensions.

Rather than die down, as has been the history of voter anger, this time it's building steam. And the payjackers and their minions are reacting like spoiled brats. This letter shows just a small part of what has been happening at the hands of the leadership. They need to feel the wrath of the voters. Write them. Call them. Email them. Let them know that you are angry and will not forget their brazen acts.

After reading the article, I also want to urge each and every one of you to help keep this issue alive. Visit these sights and donate what you can afford to help pay for billboards. The billboards are great. When you go to grassrootspa.com and scroll down you will see some of those already sitting along the highways across PA. Every donation -- large or small -- helps.

Consider running for the seat in your district. Just being against the pay raise and the unconstitutional way that it was done will get you a lot of votes. (You ARE against the pay raise, right?) Donate to help someone else who is running, if you can't run. Get a bumper sticker for your car. Yard signs and t-shirts are being planned too.

The goal is to throw out EVERY single senator or representative who voted for this (most of them are the same ones who recently voted to raise your taxes).

Did you know that they also recently decided NOT to provide life insurance coverage for any PA National Guardsman that die in this war? I usually oppose any special benefits for anyone, but look at the contrast. They figure the state (that's US) can afford pay raises for them, but can't afford to pay the insurance premiums for those who fight and die to protect us from the terrorists.

These men and women are out of touch. They aren't representative at all of the people of PA. They flagrantly violate the PA Constitution that they took an oath to obey. It doesn't matter which Party they call home. This isn't about Democrat versus Republican. This is a David and Goliath struggle. This is about the Government Party against We The People. We need to win. We need to let them know that they work for us. Trust me, it's fun to beat up on these guys. Once you get started, it may even be habit forming.
