I don't know if this is serious or not (I'm thinking not but stranger things have happened...), but considering that Christopher Walken is one of my favorite actors, it's at least a fun read...
I met him once, briefly, in NYC in '96
He struck me as sane, quite intelligent, remarkably keen sense of humor.
What's your take?
LOL. I couldn't figure out how to spell it! lol!
It is a joke. :) Something to do w/Walken's latest film...Wedding Crashers, I think.
thanks - that pretty solidly ends the debate.

- No this is a complete hoax. CW has mentioned on a number of occasions he is not interested in politics. Here is a message that was on one of the Walken discussion boards

The Christopher Walken for President thing was made up by the members of the General Mayhem forums. They are planning an elaborate hoax that makes it look like Walken is running, including registering domain names and all that crap. They are not for real.
Again, THIS IS A HOAX.
Here are the links to the sites that they are building: http://www.walkenforpres.com/ http://www.walken2008.com/ http://winwithwalken.com/modules/news/ http://www.walkentomordor.com/

He was on the boat with Natalie Wood? Wasn't her husband with her?
thanks for the corroborative details.
Very down to earth. Can be wacky...but that's a prequisite of living on the upper west side.
Thanks, thought so.
Yeah, till this day I say Wagner killed her.
The first movie I saw at Henry Kaserne (Munich) in early 62 was "Splendor in the Grass." I was in love with Natalie Wood from then on.
Thanks. Mates with my (admittedly quite superficial) read on the guy. (he's the one who told me about "New York CPR" actually... cracked me up very VERY badly)
Tell you what, if Walken did indeed run, and it came down to a choice between him and 'Er 'Einous, I'd vote COWBELL in a heartbeat.
If Christopher Walken is elected president he will take care of our enemies the same way he did in "Dogs of War". With a street sweeper.
Major shrinkage!
I...WAS...IN...THE...POOL!
Guess what? I got a fever! And the only prescription.. is more cowbell!
Never question Bruce Dickinson!
Roll it!
oh...it's there, listen closely next time
