You should try you own advice, sir smugness. Britain and France have it right, if the clerics preach hate for their society-deport them. Clean, simple and legal.
Fine -- but that's a far cry from deporting or interning all Muslims in the U.S., which is the suggestion being made by many on this thread.
And of course, it's not entirely clear that there's any comfortable way to deport said cleric if he happens to be a native-born American citizen.
The difference between your scenario and the discussion with the bigots hereabout isn't even subtle.
