In this country, we don't believe in guilt-by-association. If this woman (assuming she exists) has committed any crimes, by all means arrest her. However, her choice of clothing is really not anyone else's business.

Were Nazi sympathizers during WW2 naive and stupid enough to expect smiles and cheery 'Good Morning's' if they wore a huge swastika on the streets of America?

AFAIK, we are not fighting a war against Islam. The President himself has said as much.

Political Correctness dies hard, but it is dying.
The rhetoric has changed lately. The administration is now calling it a war on islamic extremism, instead of the war on terror.
Terror is an emotion, you can't have a war on terror. It's a slight, but perceptible shift in the proper direction.
