And your copy of "the handbook of common sense" must be missing the chapter on how (allegedly) getting out of a car and aggressively accosting somebody on the street is not simply a matter of "being offended." There are, in fact, laws against it (see, e.g., S 120.16, Hazing in the First Degree in the New York legal code).
