If this isn't a sign that Kofi Annan should resign from the UN, I don't what else it is going to take to get rid of him. Yesterday, a gentleman by the name of Alexander Yakovlev pleaded guilty in federal court to charges of money laundering and wire fraud in connection with his part in the Oil-For-Food fiasco.
The United States knew many years ago that Saddam was pulling the wool over the UN's eyes with bribes and promises of cheap oil when the sanctions were lifted. Benon Sevan, the head of the fiasco is accused of taking about 150 grand in bribes from Saddam.
