Global corporations will be hit the hardest and they are the ones pushing for the global new world order.

Regular folks like us will get stuck with the bill becuz they'll (the world corps) will pass the expense along to us via higher prices. It's called "Embedded Taxes." Probably a third of the price of everything we buy is embedded taxes. This would only jack ALL consumer prices up that much more.

To some extent taxes are passed on but to a large extent new taxes cannot be passed on because businesses were already pricing their goods at the highest price the market would bear before the tax was imposed. They can't raise prices without losing market share and the big winner might be domestic businesses who did not incur the international taxes.

To the extent that taxes can't be passed along they either need to take it out of profits and it costs the shareholders or they make it up by cutting other costs with the most likely candidate being labor. I frankly don't care if they pay the Chinese slave a bit less or a lot less.

Taxes cannot always be passed onto consumers and the more competitive the environment the more difficult it is.
