1968: US Senator Edward Kennedy’s car drove off a bridge on Chappaquiddick Island, Massachusetts killing his 28-year-old companion Mary Jo Kopechne. Kennedy fled the scene of the accident and received a suspended sentence of two months and one year's probation.
And that Sen. Kennedy's car didn't drive off a bridge. Sen. Kennedy DROVE his car off a bridge, killing Mary Jo Kopechne as a result.
The captain of the Edgartwon rescue squad was on WRKO for the 25th anniversary. He gets audited by the IRS every year.

Somehow in his mind he is an upstanding guy fighting for the rights of the less fortunate.
I on the other hand see him as a phony, a killer and a drunk.
Forever I will think poorly of the people of Mass. for continuing to put his sorry butt back into office repeatedly.
That is the sole confort I have in this case as well as in the OJ Simpson case. You can't run from God!
Seems to me the fellow should complain about harrassment from the IRS.
