I'm not a big fan of the term "conspiracy theory," because I don't think it accurately describes what it is supposed to refer to. I guess I'm just not comfortable with the term "theory," which has a specific scientific meaning, being used to describe points of view that are more accurately described as "speculation," or sometimes "totally baseless speculation." Nonetheless, "conspiracy theory" is the generally accepted term, and that is the one I will use here.

You know, even Pitt could not write that many words without saying anything. I could not satirize a more soporific string of sentences. No wonder Skinner doesn't write much--his whole board would be asleep.

In the wake of the London terror attacks, a number of new conspiracy theories are starting to take shape. At this point, I don't find any of these conspiracy theories to be particularly credible.

If they only blame Blair, they're not credible. They've got to blame Bush to meet DU minimal standards.

Just like your inept handling of the Andy Stephenson Situation, Skinner. You could have prevented a lot of grief on both sides if you weren't such a passive wuss. How about, provide some level of accountability and verifiability before running a fundraiser on the site?
