Have any of you read about JR Nyquist's theories on the real axis of evil (Russia/China/Iran/North Korea)? The theory goes the Soviet defectory Anatolyi Golytsin claimed in 1961 that there was a long-range strategy to form alliances against the west deceive the west into disarming vis-a-vie fall of the Berlin wall, etc.
I was curious to see what you folks think of this. If you look at todays headlines Nyquist's theory seems to make sense. It does, at least to me, look plausible that a long-range deception is at work. The terrorism we have seen since 9/11 could be a part of this strategy.
Anyway, curious to get your opinions on this.
