That is what confuses me. I never doubted he was sick. Is the fundraiser's shiftyness so much a part of their nature that they can't be straightforward and honest?

If you're raising funds, and somebody says, "Where's that going? Shouldn't you have a trust?"...the first answer should be, "Oh, thanks for the suggestion. Here's where your money is, and here's the trust we're setting up."
