If you've ever read anything else about Srebrenica, this is the one to read to know the truth.

Getting pretty desperate, eh Doc?
Edward S. Herman, the author above, is an anti-American leftie who co-writes books with Noam Chomsky & is a running buddy of Ramsey Clark--leader of the loony left and Milosevic's erstwhile defense attorney. Herman, your Srebrenica denier, also says GTMO is the American Devil's Island, Americans operate a "regime of torture", that Jews are "willing executioners" of Palestinians and that Israel has mounted an "illegal occupation" and "ethnic cleansing" of the Palestinians, that Bush is part of the "axis of evil" and the US runs an "empire", and that we are engaged not in a War on Terrorism, but a "War OF Terrorism".
If Edward Herman says something, you can bet your bottom dollar that the truth is in the opposite direction. Face it, Srebrenica happened and Serbs did it. Accept it and move on.
To: Doctor13
I almost forgot, your author--Edward S. Herman--first became well known back in the 1970s for denying that Pol Pot's genocide in Cambodia took place; very similar to how he now denies that the Serb-committed massacres at Srebrenica.
Herman's ability to baldly lie in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary makes him an excellent addition to our coterie of Serb war-crimes deniers here on Free Republic.

I may not agree with Edward Herman's politics, but his facts speak for themselves in this case. The majority of the sources he cites are not "lefties."
On the other hand, you prefer to believe the fascist Croats, Hitler's ally of WWII, the Bosnian Muslim government who slaughtered their own people at the Markale Market place in order to get Clinton to intervene on their side, Osama bin Laden's Kosovo Liberation Army terrorists, and BILL CLINTON, ALBRIGHT, HOLBROOKE, ET AL.
Over 75% of the American people believed Clinton was a liar, "I did not have sex with that woman!"
'nuf said.

Hey, Doc, its not Clinton or the Croats or Osama bin Laden running United States foreign policy right now. It's President Bush & Condi Rice. And they know all about Srebrenica. That's why U.S. policy is to use our special ops & other troops in Bosnia to apprehend Mladic & Karadzic, the top Serb officials responsible for the massacre at Srebrenica, and then to turn them over to the Hague for trial.

The Srebrenica IQ test continues apace.

There's a 250 page Srebrenica report coming out soon and I think this may be part of it. I have the chapter on the "numbers" but I don't think it's been made public yet.
Rest assured that the trolls will continue to attack the credibility of the authors because the content of the material is too well researched and can't be disputed. It's their usual tactic.

Now if we could only get the apologists for the jihadists to ever admit that the terrorists were using Srebrenica as a base of operation to conduct terror raids against neighborhing Serb civilians.
That will be immediately followed by us all flying on our pigs eastward into the setting sun to see the Stanley Cup played in Hell.

I did notice that marky-mark attacked the author but offered nothing to dispute any of the facts presented.
Not that anyone was surprised by that, of course.

At least we men could understand what motivated x-42. Understand, but never embrace, unlike these fools.

lets see... the Muslims pick a fight... someone has the guts to stand up to them and do what is necessary...
and instead of supporting them in their efforts... we go to war AGAINST the person who has the cagones to stand up to the Muslims?
I don't get it.
We kept the soviet union from fighting the Muslims... we kept the Serbs from fighting the Muslims... and even after 9-11 we wont do what is necessary to defeat the Muslims.
Meanwhile in Africa, they are killing Christians by the millions and we do nothing.

"But Unprofor's lack of authority had another effect. As the indictment of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia against the Bosniak commander, Naser Oric, points out, he and individuals under his command used the "safe area" of Srebrenica as a base from which to launch attacks against nearby Serb villages.
While there are differing numbers about how many Serbs died in these raids, what seems incontrovertible is that war crimes were committed, people were killed and badly mistreated, and ethnic cleansing of Serb villagers took place. The Unprofor battalion in Srebrenica was unwilling or unable to stop these attacks, which were the equivalent of waving a red flag at a bull." As I said, some inconvenient facts.

The Christian Serbs and Croats were the first to slaughter each other...If you'd bother to understand the reality of the situation, you'd know that it was the Communist Serbs and Croats duking it out with the Christian Serbs and Croats caught in the middle.
But such facts don't advance a certain agenda and are inconvenient to consider.

Canadians are not the brightest of people - antiwar.com is a RIGHTWING website. Few pro Serbs here cite Herman, Chomsky or Ramsey Clark though. They do cite Canadian generals who supported the Serbs on occasion. I don't know how Christian the Croats were back then - being that their cross was influenced by the swastika. May the Serbs be blessed to liberate more land from Muslims and Nazis once again.
