Prepare to intercept!
John Edwards, the junk-science millionaire and ex-senator from NC, is making the Grande Tour of various union strongholds promoting a minimum wage increase.
He will be proudly proclaiming his newest junk-statistics "36 million Americans are impoverished today - that's 13 million more than there were thirty years ago - and many are hard working men and women who simply cannot work their way out of poverty," unless someone challenges his nonsense!
Please note that he is specifically targeting the "swing states" from the last election cycle. [It's over, John; You lost!]

Edwards, Edwards... that name's kind of...
Naw... still nothin'...
Rule No. 1:
Never underestimate the opposition.
Who here has worked for minimum wage and now makes much more than that? My lowest wage was the minimum as a busboy in 1970. I have made many many times that in the last decade. Most folks making min do not stay there.
ROFLMAO!
Edwards Promotes Raising State's Minimum Wage
Democrat John Edwards says the candidate who stays true to his or her convictions and fights for them will win Ohio in 2008.
The former vice presidential candidate was in Cleveland and Columbus today promoting a ballot issue for next year that raises the state's minimum wage.
Edwards who with John Kerry lost Ohio to President Bush by 118,000 votes -- says a winning candidate must also focus on the economy and the war with Iraq.
Edwards' visit comes just a few weeks before Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and other potential Democratic nominees come to Columbus. They will be attending a Democratic Leadership Council event on July 25th.
That group's chairman Indiana Senator Evan Bayh has also been mentioned as a possible 2008 candidate. He spoke to Democrats in Butler County last month and will be at the Columbus event.
