I heard Mitch McConnell and some other Senator on the Michael Savage Show debating and questioning Durbin in an entirely too civil manner

That other Senator was Warner

And they all did just fine smacking Durbin upside his head

I watched the rerun of "Wake Island" tonight on the History Channel. What the Japanese did to our POW's and civilian contractors from Wake fits Durbin's bill. Durbin acts like a person who doesn't understand English.

People need to get a grip on what real torture and inhumanity IS.

Censure (the monkey) Durbin the Turban!!! He dishonored and endangered our troops. Let him speak no more on the Senate floor.

I sent the letter below to Durbin via email. Here is a website where anyone can contact him. There is a letter already composed there that you can use as is, or edit as I did to express yourself in more severe words.

Email Senator Durbin link

Senator Durbin

You have dishonored and endangered our troops! It is disgraceful that a United States Senator would compare our soldiers at Guantanamo to Hitler, Stalin and Pol Pot. Such a statement would have been terrible anywhere, but on the Senate floor it is an unspeakable horror. How can you think that a cold or hot room and loud rap music compares with gas chambers, starvation or being shot? I suggest you go and spend a week there, and live in the same conditions as these detainees are being held. You would probably find it less stressful than the crazed, out-of-touch life you lead.

You owe our troops - And America - a SINCERE apology, and retraction of your statement. Something much more explicit than the weak statement you have issued recently. That was totally unacceptable, and proved how insensitive and unpatriotic you really are.

Look into the eyes of one of your friends who has a son or daughter in the military and tell them your words did not jeopardize their child. Tell them that your words (that are being repeated over and over in the Muslum world to arouse more hatred) will have no effect on the enemy who is out to kill their son or daughter. Tell them you are certain, that if death comes to their child in Iraq at the hands of some wild terrorist who was energized by your statement, that you bear no responsability for their loss!!! Not one will believe or forgive you.

You have rightly earned the nickname "Durbin the Turban." It suits you well. Perhaps you would like to show off your new hat to the terrorists?

And when it comes to comparisons - how about:

Durban = Tokyo Rose
Durban = Lord Haw-Haw
Durban = Vidkun Quisling
Durban = Hanoi Jane
Durban = Benedict Arnold

There, I believe that is an accurate historical comparison.

All honorable senators should ostracize Durbin. They should simply leave the Senate Chamber en massse whenever Durbin requests the floor. Perhaps a quorom call could be used to ensure that everyone has the time to get out before Durbin speaks. Of course, they would also never acknowledge him in publicly in any way.

Until such time as Durbin asks for forgiveness, he should remain a pariah. Censure is too good for him. He deserves perpetual shame. Just think of the visual impact when more than half the Senate turns their backs and leaves. No words necessary. No vote necessary.

This is what the Germans did to one soldier, an American imprisoned at Limburg.

Not to be sick, but what is that showing there? Some kind of mutilation?

Maybe I should ask the rotten, treasonous Dickhe*d Durbin.
