And these are the same people rooting for......HOWARD DEAN! You know, Doc Dean is qualified to write prescriptions. Maybe he's self-medicating.
To: GraceCoolidge
they rave about this sleeping pill, then that somber voiceover at the end intoning "side effects may include...." and the list includes "drowsiness." Can you imagine? Yes, actually. I think the side effects can extend beyond the time you're thinking, i.e., when you wake up, you're still drowsy. That would be a negative side effect.

That's a skerry thought: 10s of Ks of DU-like zombies jonesing for meds roaming the swales of I-95. So skerry that George Romero made another movie about the possibility called Land of the Dead, coming out sometime this month.
Nobody does DUmmy zombie movies like George!

I think it is said about the young woman who has post partum depression, though. What the heck is her husband doing when his parents are running her down like that? What is he going to do if she goes off the deep end and hurts herself and/or their child because she couldn't get the help she needed?

Why were you so critical of the other poster? Uh....because he/she/it is a DUmmie. Certain assumptions as to approaches to life generally apply to DUmmies.

I have no medical background but I learned a whole lot more than I ever wanted to when our daughter was told she had Crohn's Disease. She died on 1/15/04 from complications of that. In some instances, we knew more than her doctors did because we did a lot of research on what she was taking and on Crohn's, too. My sister-in-law has Crohn's....and it's getting worse....they just put in a shunt for nutrients..the thing that irks me...she doesn't do what the doctors tell her....she won't give up the bad habits...and doesn't start any good habits....from what I've read on Crohn's...the worst case scenario is getting bagged...not to delve into your personal life but did your daughter follow doctors orders and try to lead a healthy lifestyle?

That has happened before, where a DUmmie starts a thread just to attract the attention of the DUmmie FUnnies.
But P-J Comix is not unperceptive, and catches it, and does NOT feature it.
For some perverse reason, some DUmmies really like being caricatured in the DUmmie FUnnies; the star status.
Some DUmmies on the other hand do not, and wish the DUmmie FUnnies had never existed.

Can you possibly imagine an FR thread like this? LOL I'll be first:
Prescription drugs: None, zip, nada
OTC drugs: Advil when really needed
I drink 4 - 5 beers a week
I'm 50
Based on DUmmie research, America is way over-prescribed.

I really really want to try that Flor de Caña 18 year old rum. Andy can go to Italy and drink Asti with Gore Vidal.
Me, I'll go to Florida and have jerk chicken and rum with PJ-Comix.
I see that they even have a 21-year-old slow-aged rum.

""Percocet PRN for menstrual cramps""
Wow, percocet for menstrual cramps. Wouldn't want to be around her if she ran out.
Somebody else mentioned 10mg of prednisone every other day, if they take that for more than 30 days they are in big trouble as it's a powerful steroid.
Not hard to see why the DUmmies are such whackos.
One would expect them to rant about the evils of big pharma corps, no?
