We went to my husband's family reunion in North Carolina and they had a pig-pickin'. Never heard of it before. We did live in Jacksonville for 3 years. I hated it but loved going to Mt. Airy and Pilot Mtn.

My biggest problem with the Aids crusade is (don't get me wrong, as my neighbor died of Aids and it's horrible) that the public money that has been thrown at a very preventable disease. In the mean time every dollar that is put into Aids research is a dollar that is not spent on cancer research.

Why do a very vocal minority get so much attention and money spent on them?

Breast Cancer kills more each year than die of Aids.
