Who did you call & can you provide the number? Also, exactly what info did you provide in order for them to search?
I called Verity Credit Union at 206-440-9000 (they have a website at veritycu.com) and pressed 8 to talk to the operator. I told her I wanted to verify a cashier's check. She transferred me to a "chanelle" and I told her I wanted to verify a cashier's check. She stumbled a bit (not a totally common call to get, I'm sure, because people treat cashier's checks like they can't ever possible be forger or stolen-- but I know different) but then said she could verify if it was issued. So I gave her the check numbers and she verified the date issued, the amount and to whom it was issued.
Look at post 1415 in the old thread, another poster is the one who identified the bank. I just called the bank to check.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you-with-at-least-15-DUmmienames, the DUmmie "sfexpat2000."
Question: the felonious Andy does not seem to be in any hurry to go home--and it appears he has given up on tip-toeing and tuliping and traipsing and cavorting and frolicking and prancing around other places investigating "voter fraud."
Perhaps because there is "safety" in Maryland?
Perhaps because the felonious Andy is in deep DU-DU with creditors?
Perhaps because the felonious Andy is in deep DU-DU with certain, uh, governmental agencies dealing with, uh, income and law-enforcement?
Perhaps the felonious Andy is running away from something?
You can run, felonious Andy, but you can't hide forever--especially from yourself, and from God.
