That post is preserved over in the other DUFU.
I'm gone for the weekend. And wouldn't the banks be closed this weekend as well?
Undie apparently did a "DU meetup" in Ohio sometime in this time frame, with pics of him with other DUmmies. That would expand the scope of DUmmies involved if that was faked, so I'm willing to believe he was in Ohio. I have no idea how to prove or disprove that he was/is in Baltimore. But he was out of state for some amount of time that week.
I concur-- one of the "trusted" guys should call so that this part of the issue can be put to rest. And if the calls are kept to a minimum, someone can check at a later date on other things (like-- was there a "stop pay" placed on these checks) without the bank being suspicious.
I didn't TELL the credit union that I was calling from JH to verify the checks (though that was likely what they assumed). My kids screaming in the background was probably a red flag, but again, the bank employees aren't sitting around looking for things to be suspicious about. Not like people on on-line forums!
BIG misstep by Andy, posting that his check to Johns Hopkins was hot. He realized the mistake within minutes and deleted his own post. But TOO LATE. It was screen captured HERE for all posterity.
ANYWAY.
The felonious Andy is not cornered yet, but he is running out of options, and quickly. His current state of mind borders upon psychosis. The felonious Andy is not in Maryland for surgery of any sort.
It may be true that he is afflicted with a bad pancreas, or other ailments suffered by those who eat too much, drink too much, and bombast too much.
(01) The felonious Andy for many years enjoyed a good job, a well-paying and well-benefited job, as a telephone/cable television repairman in Seattle; a union job with medical benefits that cover just about anything. The felonious Andy was very popular and well-liked by his co-workers and customers.
(02) Some time ago, the felonious Andy fell for some fast-talking, slick-talking franchise salesman, and chucked his good job overboard, buying a Subway Sandwich franchise with the expectations that money would flow in over-rained rivers.
(03) The felonious Andy, finding to his disappointment that the hours were too long and the greenbacks too little, allegedly (please note that little word, "allegedly") kept dipping into his own till, for personal purposes.
(04) As the felonious Andy rapidly spun downhill, he milked his dying sister (yes, he actually had a dying sister) of the meagre resources she had, but it was not enough, not nearly enough.
(05) About the same time, the felonious Andy decided to run for secretary of state of Washington (state)--and with great fanfare announced his candidacy.....only to very quickly drop it, as his financial shenanigans were becoming rather too well-known in the Seattle area.
(06) Fortuitously, at this "about the same time," the felonious Andy linked up with Bev Harris of "Black Box Voting" notoriety. The felonious Andy is a good--a charismatic--"salesman," and "sold" himself to Bev Harris.
(07) The felonious Andy was some months later fired by Bev Harris for theft and embezzlement, and because he was being lackadaisical in his responsibilities to investigate voter fraud. And yes, he really did buy underwear on her dime.
(08) The felonious Andy returned to Seattle, but feeling the pressures of creditors and other law-enforcement, decided it would be a good idea to get out of there.
(09) Having no bags of money, the felonious Andy plotted with the DUmmie "sfexpat2000" to get some quick-and-easy bucks. The DUmmie "sfexpat2000" is a real person, a younger woman who worked on the Dean campaign in Washington state in 2004, who has a "thing" about hanging around "gay" men.
(This is really peculiar, because the DUmmie "sfexpat2000" is not half bad-looking, but yet she feels attracted to this chubby boozey blowsy creature; perhaps "opposites" do attract, but anyway.....)
(10) The "fund-raiser" for the felonious Andy in DUmmieland, while raking in some bucks, has not been as good as claimed. And the DUmmie "sfexpat2000" attempted to "bandwagon" more donations by posing as other DUmmies.
(11) As mentioned earlier, the felonious Andy is not yet trapped in a corner, but his options are running out.
As for the Grand DUmmie "Skinner," or the incredibly boring DUmmie PUnidiot "William Pitiful," they appear (please notice the word "appear") to have been taken in by this confidence-job; it appears they had nothing to do with this, other than unwittingly providing "platforms" for the felonious Andy to promote his scam.
Stay tuned. The felonious Andy can run away, but he cannot hide.
I'll be on this monday to verify the checks. I have to do it all of the time as a business owner. Had to verify one for $85K tuesday.
If you need to drink to calm yourself because some of us suspect you're a troll? This is no place for such fragility.
I think the checks were just to throw us off from the 'bigger-picture'. Also, if this is the granddaddy of scams I think it is, he's being extremely careful. The 'pulling of the post' could have been he realized a bit too late that if he didn't get caught fleecing the DUmmies, then he could at the very least be caught because he admitted to bouncing a check when he was aware that it would bounce.
Although, I don't think Undie is too worried about jail time...could it be that he did that only to 'appear' so distraught to the DUmmies that they decided to give him more $$? We should see what his 'cohorts' said during that post. It could give some insight into 'why' he may have posted that in the first place.
Not if the bank has a call center. Mine is open on Sat & Sun, as are numerous branches. Note that I am the NE and cannot speak for the other coasts banks.
At one time a Subway Sandwich franchise was a hot thing but that time was about 15 years ago. Nowadays Quiznos is giving Subway Sandwich some BIG competition. Much better sandwiches at Quiznos. So it is easy to see why Undie's Subway Sandwich franchise went belly up.
BTW, you skipped over the MOST IMPORTANT part of the Undie Saga---being partners in BBV crime with Bev Harris.
oh man this is such a hoot. I think the skinner banning people thread shows he is a little on the upset side, and perhaps because of this situation.
They have reviled Bev, when perhaps, all along, it was Andy that was the thief afterall (from when he was fired from Bev's staff). Perfectly delicious irony. Once bitten, twice shy - something like that....
Almost too good of a story to be true - would make a good movie.
There IS a 24 hour billpay number! You CAN call that department(if it's not totally automated - try pressing 0 or 8 to see if someone picks up) and they SHOULD be able to verify that for you. At least, at my bank, I have verified funds and work in a similar department. I would see if speed or PJ can do this though.
Another mental picture I did NOT need !!!!!
Further note that I called during what could be considered 'after-hours' if this particular bank doesn't have a late-day call center.
Yes, I agree with that, that's why there needs to be some sort of time-line to see what's really going on with all this.
Now, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, sir.
I covered that in (06) and (07).
I don't think they were "partners"--this is just an opinion, but I think that while Bev Harris was out to fleece everybody else, the felonious Andy was out fleece Bev Harris.
Not partners, but one parasite eating into another parasite.
Well, now you've figured out why I don't post much! But my wine is more a product of being with two toddlers all day than on your rather harsh treatment. I spend time at another site in which there are often posters who seem clearly to be trolls to me. And one of the most useless activities I see people spending time doing is to "call out" the trolls. Either ignore them, or debate any factual points provided. I've done nothing troll-like, in my opinion. To be "troll-like" would be to continue to encourage people to enlarge the checks, look for different fonts, etc... to see how Undie forged these checks.
Frankly, I'm kind of disappointed that no one else had already checked on the authenticity of the checks. It seems sloppy to me, and I don't expect that out of conservatives. But hopefully one of the trusted/ older posters will verify this on Monday and you can move on to the myriad of other things that might be wrong with the andyscam.
Now, for another glass of wine...
"Well, didn't he supposedly have surgery set for Tuesday without this test?"
Yes. He posted on the day of the 'test' but never mentioned it.
