To italicize you use i in between the < >symbols in front of the phrase and /i in between the < > symbols at the end of the pharse. Testing.

One more thing that you might want to know about html code. This is for any who were wondering.

In post 172, if you had used < > with the letter p in between the brackets, it would have given you a paragraph, so that you could separate the italics from the next part of your post.

The carriage return only works if there is no html code in your post.

Once you use html to make italics, then you have to keep on using it, for example, to make paragraphs.
