I didn't realize that Lampley is certifiable.

Joe Namath beat Baltimore. The Dodgers beat the heavily favored Oakland A's years ago. And then there was the MIRACLE ON ICE. Sometimes bookies get it wrong.

I suppose there's no reward offered. Too bad.

More than one have written to comment on the biased sample that over-represented democrat.

Therefore, the "con" game was the opposite direction, Mr Lampley...have you thought of that.

!. Las Vegas sportsbook odds showed Kerry would win.
2. Kerry didn't win.
3. The election must have been fixed.

Who can argue against such unassailable logic?

I can't decide whether to fall on the floor laughing or call 911 for poor Mr. Lampley.

Wow....and just look at how certain he is! Look at the faux-authoritative language he employs, without ever introducing a single fact. His entire argument is based upon the speculations of the bookies in Vegas!

Too funny for words.

Well, the odds makers were wrong, so the election was stolen! LOL. I needed a good laugh.

All the swing states went for Bush? I think not. If Rove was fixing the election I'd think he would have turned it into an electoral college rout while he was at it. Bush/Cheney would also have won MN, WI, and maybe PA and MI too.

Why does anyone care what Lampley thinks anyway?

I feel dumber after having read that.
Me thinks Jim Lapley has been channelling Michael Moore and needs to seek therapy quickly.

And how stupid are these people, that they believe the garbage that is being spewed here, and yet are too stupid to locate any actual "proof"?

If the 'fix' is so obvious, can't they find any lawyers who will take the issue to court for them?

Still waiting for proof - getting older while waiting - haven't seen a bit - for such a huge conspiracy, surely someone would spill the beans.

Boy, we members of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy certainly are a tight group, aren't we? Probably has something to do with Rove's paying us all off - from his inexhaustable supply of money -

See you all at the meeting on night of the Next Full Moon. Don't forget your black cats and broomsticks.

give me a break.

Let's see. So the bookies and poll takers can't possibly be mistaken so the election must have been fixed.

Well I can now sleep at night. At last I know what some ex-jock thinks about the 2004 election. If only I knew what Donald Rumsfeld thought about Terrel Owens, I could die a happy man.

Actually the oddsmakers had Bush WINNING right up into election day, then when the FAUX exit polls came out the odds went wild. So go suck an egg.

Huffington's website might be a huge success after all.

These things have been some of the very best (unintentional) humor pieces I've read in a long time.

The Huffers are in a desperate competition with DU and DailyKOS for most delusional. They've made a good start but have their work cut out for them.
