I didn't find the "joke" funny, nor appropriate for the first Lady of the United States. If you think otherwise, then fine. But YOUR opinion isn't gospel.
Good grief - she was sticking a skewer right through the lefties and forcing them to laugh at her skewering of them.
The jokes were hilarious and perfectly appropriate for the venue.
Anyone considering the First Lady's routine last Saturday night to be inappropriate is obviously unfamiliar with the annual Washington Correspondents Dinner. Mrs. Bush's comments were mild compared to what normally occurs at those ROASTS.
