"ever since HIV was declared the cause of AIDS (without any scientific evidence whatsoever)."

Ever since my hemotologist friend explained why this beloved belief (that HIV has nothing to do with the cause of AIDS)of the hard left is complete bull, it's become one of those warning flags that instantly cause me to dismiss the person or publication it's attached to, kinda like the "proof" that George Bush snorted coke (the source was unnamed) or that there is a dead person in the movie "Three Men and a Baby" (it's a cardboard standup).

It originated on the right, with Peter Duesberg's book that was published by Regnery. The left only adopted it when they realized it meant that they could use it as an excuse to justify their irreponsible habits (drugs, sodomy, etc.).
