Normally one would not even need to speak to him. Just go in and find what you want pay and leave.
The store is really really tiny and stocked to the ceiling with stuff to where you can barely walk around. So it is hard to find things as you can imagine. That is unless you are looking for Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice which is everywhere.
The only reason you would speak to the old man is if you can't find something and that is when he gets pissed off.
