SOME ARE MISSING MORE THAN WMD

The most striking difference between our nation’s two largest political parties lies in focus, only one looks forward.

We confront obvious questions constantly concerning improved education, economy, energy, health, defense… as well as religious and constitutional rights.

How long has the education budget been increasing and what has it produced? If the voucher system can improve results for a lesser cost why the roadblocks? How obscure are the professor Churchills? Consider how education is taught and ask how many students today realize the principles upon which our country was founded, religion and government included.

The DOW, during a time of war and record oil prices, is teetering on record highs. Ask yourself how this can be swept under the rug and how raising taxes or increasing spending will improve anything. How can never ending government regulations benefit business? If minimum wage is increased, why would a company hire more employees at the lower levels? How can higher taxes improve a companies aggressive focus on expanding? Why should pharmaceutical manufacturers waste their time developing cures for diseases… knowing they will be sued to the other end of the earth if there is an adverse reaction to the script…?

We import about 60% of our oil yet we have at least 3% of the world’s supply. America is a high tech nation which builds things for other countries including medical supplies and new technology. Imagine using the oil not only for ourselves but for the benefit of the world, and we are not permitted to either drill or build additional refineries? What is the world without us and which party would gag at the concept of repudiating foreign aid? We must nurse the same people who are disinheriting us?

We are protecting animals and insects instead of people. Our country exalted to the status it has because of private industry. Name one arm of government which doesn’t lose inordinate amounts of money each year, losses we are supplementing. As such, when our rights are paralyzed, a further burden is then imposed. How many people are having nightmares over the possible extinction of anything that may occupy the Alaska desolation?

The first WTC was attacked and our previous administration ignored it. Following DNC contributions from the following airlines; American - $265,000, Delta - $120,000 United - $115,000, Northwest - $87,000, and TWA - $40,000 then chairman of White House Commission on Aviation Safety Al Gore dropped all investigation charges against them. The result was no security.

Presidential candidate Kerry, "It's hard to say that something is legitimate when a whole portion of the country can't vote and doesn't vote." , "No, it's more. And, in fact, I believe the world is less safe today than it was two and a half years ago."
Senator Kerry, "The U.S. military presence has become part of the problem, not part of the solution".
Rep. Lynn Woolsey, "By removing our troops from the country, we will remove the main focus of the insurgents' rage''.

In 1970 defense was 40% of federal spending although it dropped from 19.8 percent in fiscal 1993 to 15.5 percent in fiscal 2000.
On October 9, 1998, a letter signed by Senate liberals included the following;

Breaux, Daschle, Dodd, Feinstein, Ford, Inouye, Johnson, Kerrey, Kerry, Landrieu, Launtenberg, Levin, Lieberman, Mikulski

"[W]e urge urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."

The WMD threat was not only disregarded by the liberals once Bush took office, but by the media as well. In an intelligence report by the International Atomic Energy Agency an extreme concern was expressed was cited as to the theft of nuclear waste in Iraq.

"The Baghdad Nuclear Research Facility, another important nuclear site that has been looted, houses the remains of the Osirak reactor bombed by Israel in 1981 and the USA during the 1991 Gulf War. It contains spent reactor fuel, as well as radioactive isotopes including caesium and cobalt - materials that could be used by terrorists for making radiological dispersal devices (commonly known as 'dirty bombs'). Terrorists could obtain the material either directly or from looters selling material on the black market."
It’s mind boggling when one considers what information is regarded as "news worthy".

What threat does prayer create? How do front yard recreations of the stable infringe upon a community during Christmas? What’s wrong with prayer meetings in a neighborhood? Why are KKK exempt? Who are the liberals to define religious conservatives as anti-gay bigots because they deny them the right to marriage? What makes the religious right bigots in light of the fact that they oppose abortion? On their April 2, 2005 weekly national address, why do you think the liberals failed to mention the death of the Pope?

What rights are the voters being afforded when judges either create or rescind constitutional law? Why should an official appointed by someone who was elected with less than a majority vote have the power to recreate our Constitution? Decisions cannot be made out of constitutional context or they are nothing more than opinion. The courts raised taxes in New York, provided illegal aliens with benefits, gave terrorists the same rights as American citizens, forced the removal of the 10 Commandments from public display, instituted abortion and gay marriage… One must realize that America is a representative republic, something again which normally receives a preface comment behind the 6 Chapters of Clinton in today’s history education. Congress controls the lower courts and people elect Congress yet we have been experiencing just the opposite.

Improved education, economy, energy, health, defense… as well as religious and constitutional rights are all goals of the conservatives. We were elected by a voting majority which seeks change. President Bush ran on that platform, no doubled sided issues… Congress owes their election success to him, it is past time for them to stand up for their President as well as their voters and demonstrate they deserve to be there.
