Free Dominion is Free Republic's official Canadian affiliate. FD began as a chapter of FR, before growing into their own website and discussion board, thanks to the hard work of Connie Wilkins and Mark Fournier. The blogger on MSNBC who plugged FD is Pete Vere, an up-and-coming Canadian pro-Bush journalist and canon lawyer. (Yes, I know this sounds strange, but there are pro-Bush Canadian journalists.)
