It will never happen. This is OUR fault for letting society get to the point where these decisions are even debated.
I've said it before, It would be one thing if some sort of hi tech apparatus were actually keeping her alive past the point where she would normally have departed for eternity.
For example, heart pump, breathing machine, etc. The question then could be "Is the machine keeping her body functioning when she is really dead?".
This however was simple nourishment for an individual who could not feed herself. Just like what we did as parents for our infants.
Had we withheld food from our infants, we would without a doubt (and rightfully so) be charged with murder.
It should have never arrived to the point where "should we starve someone to death?" is even up for debate.

I totally agree with you that this was just nourishment for her..that which we all would need to remain alive. My mother starved to death from Alzheimers. I have seen this up close and personal..it is not something that is euphoric..it is just awful.
Now they are painting a picture of absolute courtesy for the Shindlers from St MS (gag). I wonder if they went in at the assessment and just gave her that final push with a drop more medicine?
Angels of mercy at that place which is linked with Hemlock Society? This Felos in on the air now talking about the death and he is a sicko..he gets positively orgasmic over the idea of death...God save us...
