Hospice Rocognizes that Terri Schiavo Does Feel Pain
Simply Sanity ^ | March 29, 2005 | Rebecca Gorman

"George Felos, Michael Schiavo's lawyer, said after visiting Schiavo yesterday afternoon that he believed her death was near. He and hospice officials said she has received two 5 milligram doses of morphine since her feeding and hydration tube was removed on March 18, but that those very small doses were administered by hospice nurses who noticed 'slight moaning, facial grimacing and tensing of [her] arms.'"

From article by Maeve Reston, Post-Gazette National Bureau

So look me in the eyes and tell me that Terri can't feel anything. Or that Terri hasn't felt herself slowly starve and dehydrate over the last eleven days. Or look me in the eyes and tell me it's not very painful to go without food and water for that long.

More on this later: A "Post Vegetative State" is not a scientifically established condition.

She is starved and dehydrated because it is the humane thing to do.
She is a vegetable so we should not worry that she is in pain.
The MSM drills it into our heads all week that even if she were aware (admitting they MIGHT be wrong) she is actually peaceful, serene, and euphoric.

Now this.
Now we see what we knew was the truth all along.
That we are allowing a cruel and unusual punishment be carried out on a helpless disabled woman.

I am very afraid for America - but especially for Florida.

"Then they also will answer Him,* saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?'

"Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.'

What the MSM doesn't tell you is that the 'euphoric' state doesn't occur until Death is literally at the door, ready to swing his scythe.

Getting to that state, however, is probably the most painful way to die ever conceived. Murder, most foul.

But...but....I thought it was going to be 'euphoric.'

probably the most painful way to die ever conceived.

Agreed.

And we have done it to the least of these.

Think how a public statement such as that one would have been accepted in 1965, say.

And look where we are now. That it can be and is said, exposing the incredible evil without any need to hide.

We are in grave danger.

I am amazed that this slime lawyer for Michael is still alive, and someone hasn't taken a pot shot at him. Talk about gag..he talked about letting Terri die with dignity, then proceeded to tell everyone how much urine was showing from Terri at that point..and this is broadcasted around the world....dignity, sure!!

I am sickened by Terri's ordeal and convinced her beloved husband has wanted her out of the way for a long time.

Perhaps one of the hospice nurses will find it in his/her heart to add water to the morphine drip, or- barring that-give her more than tiny doses so that she is not in agony.

Someday the truth will come out, but I fear not in time to save Terri. The experts say it is too late to rehydrate her even if there were a last minute reprieve.

She is NOT a vegetable and is suffering.

There may come a day when those voices George Felos hears will tell him to blow his head off, note i did not use brains for he lacks any of that. I think most people with a brain has compassion for their fellow man, or woman.

prob. at this point a substantial dose of morphine would kill her.. also... if they recognize pain being suffered, then they can tell she's a person, and they should, even if to no avail (due to organ damage) need to reattach the feeding tube, with or without king greer's approval. and tell him to take a flying f*** if he said no..

I just find it hard to believe that in all these yearas, none of the nurses or doctors have had the nerve to stand up to Mr. Schiavo. Keeping terri's blinds closed, no rehab, not let her listen to music, restrict visitors. This man is pure evil and I am convinced Terri did not suffer brain damage as a result of a "thud" during the night. I believe he tried to do her in that evening and failed.....

There's a possibility of damage. but if anything it was at most after the initial incident, or the many times he injected Terri, a non-diabetic, with Insulin, resulting in a hypoglycemic shock and a short coma in the late 90s. why did he become a nurse? so he could have access to insulin. He's only backpedaling now about the autopsy because he thinks that time will cover his crimes, and feigns ignorance about particulars of autopsy saying--u must be watching too much CSI. A nurse will know the general steps involved in an autopsy, and given the nature of the controversy of it w/ terri, I'm 100% certain he knows...

as for standing up to him, too many feared being fired for doing so...

IMHO, she has her faculties about her, but the incident damaged her ability to actually reach out... let's pray she can "wake up" screaming demanding food/water and Michael's neck at the end of a rope!!!
