First, a disclaimer: Given all the fussing about dangerous radical professors these days, I should make it clear that while I teach at the University of Texas at Austin, I don’t speak for the university. (Not that anyone at this rally would ever imagine that I do.) I repeat: What I’m about to say is not official policy of the University of Texas. This is an individual teaching college students at the University of Texas. I refuse to post the entire content of his blog, there is no need to duplicate it. Read it, or as much as you can, and realize this is the type of mindset which is influencing students. Ask yourself why this country needs enemies when we have professors such as these. Consider the conservatives who are prohibited from even speaking at these universities and ask yourself what are the consequences which result from assertions from people such as he. I'm certainly not against him voicing his opinions publicly let alone establishing and growing his web, I don't like the teaching arrangement.
