I didn't see where the decision to starve Terri was on the ballot box - I must have missed that vote. You have congressional elections on the ballot. If you are concerned about judicial overreach, then elect representatives who will actually impeach bad judges.

I hope your aren't lumping my use of the term "popular revolt" as extra-legal action. It was a poor choice of words, especially in such a heated debate.
However, sitting quietly and waiting for the next election in order to act as an individual in a vacuum in order to attempt to punish the legislator is not only unwise, but not fair to those we've charged with the responsibility to represent us.
They need to know the will of their constituents, and the magnitude of their political will in order to act as effective Representatives. Like a good boss, we need to let our employees know what is expected of them, and what our goals are.
How they respond to this "popular revolt" is how they will be judged on election day.I doubt we are in disagreement here. But I do disagree with your respect for judicial authority. They are not a branch without immediate checks and balances from the other branches. They can be overridden.

Then perhaps some of representatives will strike up a chorus to impeach Greer. Otherwise, I'm not impressed.
