And the sick thing about all this is that Terri's death cannot come quickly enough for some. Quickly enough so ther's no time to organize. Quickly enough so people who don't even today know the facts never will. Quickly enough so they can all go back to watching 24 and the Final Four. Quickly enough so we can all forget about this terrible, uncomfortable issue and never have to hear the name of Terri Schiavo ever again.

If the students didn't protest in Tienanmen Square, would the world know about it? You may argue the point, being that the world is aware of Terri's case, but this kind of attention expresses a sense of urgency.
The only ones that marched in Germany were the soldiers, as you'll recall. I remember listening to German citizens who said that they had no idea the extermination of jews were taking place in their own back yard.
The subpoenas were issued on Friday. No one really expects her to testify...but she has been called as a witness. Greer should be held in contempt of Congress for ordering the feeding tube removed because it endangered a witness.
