Rather good I think, much better then the notion that the federal courts will make a finding other than what Greer did on the merits down the road, which I think is extremely low, maybe close to two standard deviations out.
One word. "Wow."
>>Cats are definitely better than MRI's
LOL. I'd rather YOU have an MRI any day over a CAT, but just because I could see in your head better.
"Reminds me of a comment I made earlier: if a doctor is giving an ECG to someone on a treadmill and the tracks suddenly start going crazy, does he run for a defribulator or does he look for the lead wire that fell off?"
My head just fell off. I'm up to late. Thank you for the medical insight.
Night and FReegards....
Lord help Terri!
And against Florida state law, publically endorsed Judge Greer for re-election and used Sheriff department resources in a Greer campaign ad.
Even better, the sheirrf who hired Michael Schiavo as nurse for the county jail was elected to the Florida state legislature in November 2004 and is now voting against aiding Terri.
JudgeGreer, the ex-sheriff, Felosthe death attorney for Michael, and Florida State Senate King who is blocking lislative help for Terri are currently now, or were at one time, on the board of directors of the hospice where Terri is currently being MURDERED.
:). I never claimed that my brain was "normal."
One in every five people on a conservative website like FR is a huge amount and it's the one thing that makes me believe the overall polls are honest at least as far as the answer to who thinks she should be starved. I understand that in addition to trolls here there are malcontents and people on here who would argue that white is black, etc. probably because they have no one else to argue with. The rest of the people in that 20% have been brought up and stewed in the "culture of death" and that's all they have ever known and can relate to, and lastly there are the people who usually are able to think, but because of guilt? or some feeling mostly having to do with someone close to them who died, they can't separate their feelings enough to look at the facts of this particular case. I know posters here have strong opinions about this case, but I really believe the monumental amount of posts of these threads is in part due to the back and forth on the subject and it's not to nod in agreement with one another.
But would he want to be known in democratic circles as the guy that gave the game away?
Rough choice.
Still, he wanted to play in the big league!
"Dinner's waitin' and I gotta get TO IT"
In the fewest possible words:
Because he intends for her to die.
-PJ
He could join the Pubbies, shoot he would prove by it that he's at least to the right of Greer.
Yeah, think of a cross between Boss Hogg and Freddy Krueger.
YEP. Years and years (okay, decades) ago a lawyer friend said it was a tactic to watch out for because it meant the judge was probably not going to ask you to his dinner party!
Personally, lawyers scare me silly because they can think thoughts I'd rather not entertain......
essentially brought about by feminists.
Another Savage listener, eh? ;)
I won't really start to get concerned about Terri living until Wednesday afternoon or so. She has proven to be a tough one and able to stick it out for a long time.
But, boy I sure hope new feeding is ordered tomorrow.
Since you're still up and reading...
What's it mean when the judge said he'd file electronically? Does it become open news at once, or does it get logged in and done something with, prior to being announced?
This thing is worse than a badly written scrip of Peyton Place.
What I want to know is, do the Democrats believe that removal of food and water from individuals (The NYTimes thinks this is "gentle") is an acceptable interrogation technique for terrorists?
