What's scary to me, and my wife and I were discussing this, is that we are going to have to document that we don't want machines keeping us alive for a long period of time when there is no hope for us getting better.

What's even more scary is how many of you have demonstrated a willingness to keep us that way should we not document that we want to be allowed to die in such a scenario.

Michael Schiavo is a criminal and a murderer who will get away with it if Congress doesn't act. Some of you people are believing Michael Schiavo and that Terri, in fact, made this request to die...if Michael had done as promised when the accident happened (that means take care of Terri and not shack up with another woman and have kids with her) maybe people would believe him, but in this case Michael's motives are highly suspsect and someone needs to speak out in defense of this poor woman who is likely the way she is BECAUSE OF MICHAEL SCHIAVO!
