My guess is they picked this date to hit a Congressional hiatus. (They didn't count on this Congressional subpoena business, however.) That this death dance is leading up to Easter only makes it sweeter to these ghouls.

The corruption in Florida goes deep. The prisoners and their relatives should protest about having a sociopath such a MS for a nurse. Michael stated on Larry King that he had the feeding tubes pulled on his parents and felt good about it.

"Michael Schiavo, who was with his wife when the tube was removed once before in 2003, found the prospect of being with her again too upsetting, so he didn't join her until after the procedure was over,"

Because she fought the removal, perhaps?

Rice said he and Judge Greer are friends, and he acknowledged making a TV ad and was on the hospice board several years ago, as an honorary member because he was sheriff.

Rice was one of eight Republicans in the state House who voted against a bill that would have prevented the withholding of food and water to incapacitated patients who did not make their intentions clear beforehand.

Would this be the same hospice board that Felos was also on at one time? The cronyism in this case becomes more apparent with each new day. If any pol has the courage to start flipping over rocks, he will be rewarded with plenty of bugs to step on.

Anyone happen to know if this hospice received federal funds?

I feel the same way. I just have lost faith in the system, not that it ever was perfect. However, this is truly over the top. Judge Greer frenzy to have Terri killed and not wanting an investigation if she was abused raises red flags. He sure has declared himself to be all powerful who can do anything, even condemn an innocent person to death.

"I hired him," Rice said, "but I never saw him. I don't know him. It's hard to find good nurses, and he was right at the top of the stack of applications."

Wow. What a discerning employer. Just the kind of guy I would want making life and death decisions.

His chief critic is June Maxam of Chestertown, N.Y., who challenges what she calls "judicial tyranny."

You go, girl! This is FABULOUS!!! And Rice didn't know anything about this until Friday. LOL!! Blindsided. These monsters are so arrogant they think they can get away with ANYTHING!! Add Rice to the list of monsters we are going to expose. I just wish I was in Florida right now. The monsters are squirming. And they all absolutely have to get rid of Terri or else they'll all be exposed for the evildoers they are. It was great listening to Michael Savage last night. Go, all!!!

"What is it with the far left and their desire to defile Easter Week. Elian Gonzalez was kidnapped on Holy Saturday and Terri will most likely be taking her last breaths sometime around Good Friday. Is there important symbolism there?"

There's no symbolism necessary here. There's just in-your-face asinine liberalism on full display for all but the willfully blind to see. Examples of these Democrat-driven atrocities occur every year, time and again. The fact that 48% of the people of this country continue to support these monsters is absolutely mind-boggling! It's not a question of people getting their heads out of their asses anymore. It's intentional complicity!

99.999999999% of the people who only read the title of the story are going to believe Rice is Condi Rice. Do you think maybe Steve has an agenda?

Who ever changed the title, Thank you.

We treat our pets better than Terri's being treated. If they are going to murder her anyway, why do it slowly and let her suffer? Why don't they euthanize her, I don't see much difference. Killing is killing, slowly or quickly.

This is so unbelievably insane.

Jodi's mother worked for Rice, before she was the watchdog in the room at Terri's last enforced starvation.

If dehydration or starvation of a healthy person is such a peaceful way to die, why does Oregon so badly need an assisted suicide law?

Can't most of the suicidal Oregonians opt to stop eating and drinking?

Pray for justice for Terri.

Did Rice have a relationship with her or with Jodi?

Strange, but I have never seen a photo, not even a high school picture, of Jodi the mistress. From some of the comments that have appeared on Terri threads on FR it wouldn't surprise me if she is lurking here.

It gets even worse than that. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) treats bodies of dead horses better than Terri's being treated

SENATOR FEINSTEIN'S HORSE SLAUGHTER BILL , makes sure that the bodies of dead American horses are not fed to foreigners.

As Americans, most of us were shocked to learn that this odious, ugly and gut-wrenching practice even exists. Why? The reason is simple. Horse slaughter, or the slaughter of our pleasure, nonfood animals, is not and never will be part of our culture.

Yeah, and the fact that I received Superfund support to get my Ph.D. had NOTHING TO DO with the fact that my boss' wife administered the Superfund program.

Even while denying the cronyism, every statement this Rice makes confirms just how deep it has gone.

BTW, I thought, from the title, that this was about Condi. For a brief time, I was shocked.

Strangely enough, it seems that most people favor the starvation death of Terri. I don't know if it's because they are misinformed as to the particulars of this case or it they just hate anything to do with PRO LIFE or they are corrupted by the god of this world. I used to think that if only people understood the horrors of abortion and euthanasia, they'd jump into our camp with both feet but now I'm not so sure. Looks like we're choosing up sides. AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD and I MEAN IT!!!
