They should do that - and arrest the judge for murder. Yes, I do approve of and applaud civil disobedience. When a government edict is out of harmony with the moral code, with the Higher Law, we must do all in power to resist it, to obstruct it, and overturn it.

I'm sure you would just love living in a totalitarian state where any such resistance is viewed as being akin to terrorism.

Which btw is where China is

The law ordering slavery was morally wrong. The law ordering racial apartheid in this country was morally wrong. The law ordering the murder of Jews in Germany was morally wrong. The law ordering the murder of a helpless woman is morally wrong. In all this circumstances, it is not only permitted, but praiseworthy, to everything one can to frustrate evil edicts at variance with God's Will. When a law degrades the human personality and denies a human being their God-given rights, they are of no effect and are null and void. No decent person can obey them.

All we want to do is see she gets food and water. We are for human dignity and for preserving human life. Values that our elites are hostile to. You have to do the right thing in the face of disapproving official authority. God bless 'em.

The Schiavo story has bought out how many damn traitors we have here on FreeRepublic. It's shocking to see how many 'normally' rational posters are siding with the death-lovers. It's as if some kind of trance/spell has been cast over. Good God! No wonder the population at large accepts the 'death-culture.'

Symbols matter. The Left is so fond of pointing out even seemingly meaningless gestures have an impact on how the public sees the bigger picture. What we are trying to do here is show we do want a human being fed and cared for. We do that for murderers. We owe at least that much compassion to a dying woman.

Of course the Left will portray good as evil and evil as good. When has ever been otherwise? Its not Operation Rescue's tactics that are wrong. Its that Left has been relentlessly able over the decades, to delegitimize what is good and to make legal what is depraved. And rest assured, it won't end with Terri Schiavo's death.

Symbols do matter. How is THAT a SYMBOL????

You're going to risk jail when you won't be able to get within 100 yards of the place??? And if you can't get within 100 yards of the place, asking to feed her is NOT risking jail.

Go up to the doors with food and water and submit to arrest. Or get near it, ask for food and water to be brought in and submit to arrest. Sometimes breaking the law is the right thing to do.

The traitors, at least some of them, seem to want to make peace so they can say "well those were sour grapes after all" should Terri indeed be done in this time around.

It's not worth it people. Just keep screaming at those in authority and make them take the risks.

Getting arrested in attempt to feed a person who wants to eat would be worth it to me. Letting her starve to death IMO is not worth hearing God say, what did you do for Terri when you knew she knew she was being straved to death on judgement day. Jail beats hell anyday.

NO better than terrorists. When you resort to vigilantism, you've lost.

In your mind attempting to feed someone and give him or her water is equated with terrorism?

The Bible commands Christians to not only love those that love us, but also those who are our enemies. Christians are commanded to give food and water to even their enemies, how much more should they to their friends.

Terri has committed no crime. She clearly wants to live as was evidenced by her crying when she heard the news that they were going to remove the feeding tube. Any Christian that is that area or can get to that area has a moral obligation to feed her based on the word of God. When it's a choice between God's law and man's law, I will choose God's law every time.

I think it is just ignorance.

Those of us who have been part of the life of someone disabled can see past the wheelchair or disfigured body.

We see the person.

Also many in our society put themselves above being servants.

A snobbery and selfishness of sorts which is what I think Christ meant about those being Blind, Deaf and Crippled.

I can say with certainty if any of these pro death for the disabled lost there legs or where burnt losing their face they would quickly overcome their mentality and would See, hear and be healed. If you catch my drift.

Sometime they are going to grow old and the vanity will turn into a strong will to live it happens to most of us.

That is a limitless debt if stated in that manner. But I don't believe that's what the sheep/goats are talking about. This is talking about the already saved and the already unsaved, probably in the context of a church congregation. The first are rewarded for every good act towards their fellow Christian. The last are punished for every bad act towards a Christian.
