Feeding Tube Being Removed: Greer Gives Order
However, this is a power post that captures the emotion of the moment that Terri Schiavo was told that her feeding tube was to be removed.
Many people have claimed Terri Schiavo is Brain Dead or on a respirator. She is not.
She has tried to form words before, so this is nothing new.
It is hard to read the above and not have a dry eye or at least be moved emotionally.
The Passion of Terri Schiavo starts as we enter Holy Week.
I guess we have a Pontius Pilate of sorts -- Judge Greer. We have a betrayer, a Judas to sell someone out for 30 pieces -- Michael Schiavo. And then we have Pharisees -- George Felos.
But Terri is not Jesus Christ. It is only that she may be like Jesus in that Jesus -- once nailed to the cross -- could not move or get down. He was totally helpless on the cross.
My last point about the Passion of Terri is to help people reflect on the passion of Jesus two thousand years ago.

Michael Schiavo is the legal guardian, not her parents.

Thou annointest her head with oil --- That's Consecration !!!
Her cup runneth over --- That's Abundance !!!
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow Terri all the days of her life --- That's Blessing !!!
And she will dwell in the house of the Lord --- That's Security!!!
Forever --- That's Eternity !!!
Congressional Subpoena --- That's Deliverance !!!
Face it ---- The Lord is crazy about Terri !!!
Otherwise --- Why else would He continuously deliver her from
the evil hands of her attempted murderers ???
Unfortunately they are not her legal guardians.

Very sad--When I first heard of this case (about a year ago)
I thought the husband should decide, but it seems apparent to me that she should be put in the care of her parents. Very, very sad.
Well, that can damned sure be changed, funny how you people had rather see someone murdered than cared for. Altzheimer's, MS and other patients are NEXT, since we already murder the unborn and partially born--choose sides we're ready.

Agreed. People need to get really motivated to get President Bush's nominees as judges. Time to fight those Democrats on filibusters and slowing down the Congress.

That is exactly the problem, his motives are in question.
He should be removed as guardian, and her parents should be
installed in place.

Actually, Judge Greer has very poor eyesight, so I don't know why he doesn't step down and let someone competent take his place.
In a sense, he has trouble seeing the facts.
Judge Greer's competency is in doubt. Someone who puts a man who has $2 million to gain by killing his wife as a guardian and has a mistress that he has had two children by, should not be the guardian.
Supposedly word came from the mistress that the feeding tube had been pulled -- sounded like the mistress was quite happy the first wife was going to die.
I should have been clearer. Not about the judge, but if Schiavo started to cry and said "I want to live."
He never looked at the evidence and allegations of abuse by the so called husband, he never looked at the motives for wanting her dead, why, for the first 8 years did Schaivo say that Terri wanted to live, and that he'd take care of her for the rest of their lives, then weeks after recieving 2 million dollars suddenly remember that she said she didn't want to live on a machine? There are soooo many unanswered questions.

That statement was written to incite people to come to Florida and nothing more.
It may work, but it is disingenuous at the very least.
If the parents had the authority to do that, they'd probably have the authority to keep her feeding tube in i assume...
