Like the fish. The hall is named after the Bass family, the billionaire oil barons who have, almost singlehandedly, revived the arts and downtown area of Fort Worth over the past 20 years. Almost all of it has been done with their own money.

Tony Bennett peforms here every year, and said it was the most beautiful and acoustically brilliant "small hall" he's ever played in.
