It's great to hear that these people are so happy. Thune is a real conservative, not a RINO, so we should expect big things from him. If Republican leaders and writers still feel like celebrating the great November victory, why not?
Especially given the Administration's accomplishments following the election. Let them eat, drink, and tweak the Demorats.Maybe they were also celebrating Rather's departure as the chief shill for the RATS on TV.

I think this is a good thing too actually. There's nothing wrong with deepening a relationship with one of the most important men in the country. I would have to label that as smart and aggressive journalism. Well done!
