I'm trying to figure out where the nuclear power is coming from, none in Illinois that I know of.
Several years back Union Electric (Eastern Missouri, based in STL) purchased a rather large power company in central Illinois. The new company is named AmerenUE. The original Union Electric has a nuclear plant in Callaway Mo. So I would suppose there is some nuclear power escaping across the mighty Missisip into Illinois.
