add Jerry Rivers. Ordinarily I'd say that his lack of credibility (which reaches back decades, when he used to deliver op-eds during his Vietnam reports) and insatiable thirst for publicity would exempt him from the list, but I've changed my mind, in part because it gives me a chance to call him by his early-career nom de plume, Jerry Rivers.

"The fumble came as Clinton's 2006 Senate - that's Senate, not presidential - campaign gloated over the record nearly $5.3 million in contributions she raked in during the third quarter. Most of her 70,052 donors were first-time contributors, and all but 5% gave under $100. Clinton's war chest now exceeds $13.8 million, and was padded during Hollywood fund-raisers this week."

"In a development that could spice up the 2006 race, two antiwar candidates have announced they will challenge Clinton for the Democratic nomination in New York next year. Former National Writers Union president Jonathan Tasini and former Green Party member Steven Greenfield are hoping to tap into the party's liberal base in this dark blue state. One of their primary tasks will be to reshape the popular perception of Clinton's ideological makeup and to portray her as out of step with New Yorkers. They may have some cause for optimism in this effort."

You watch what will happen.

McCain will join up with Hillary but before that, Cheney will step down and President Bush will appoint Condeleeza Rice as his vice President. The Rats will lose everything.

"Cheney will step down and President Bush will appoint Condeleeza Rice as his vice President."

I've seen it predicted before, and in fact, I think I've seen it predicted for 2003, to build an unstoppable combination reelection ticket.

I do wonder though, will VP Cheney *live* through the next three years, given his health and age. I could see him stepping down for health reasons. However, appointing Condi for VP might be more beneficial (in terms of succession) later in the term, because the confirmation hearings (such as they are) will show the country the Dhimmicrats making a-holes of themselves.

It could wind up forcing the Dhimmicrats to nominate Hillary, an option they may relish not having to exercise, if the newspapers can be believed.

Uh...

THEY CAN'T. Hillary is the preferred nominee of the partisan media shills as well as the movers and shakers within the party. Even Screamin' Dean.

I doubt that Condi would be appointed, unless GWB has someone waiting in the wings to be his third Sec'y of State. Maybe his national security adviser?
