The final resolution of this war and the U.S. occupation of Iraq will likely not be the end, rather, only the prelude to a succession of future crises: in Kashmir, Syria, North Korea, and Iran.

Uh DUH! You would think that people would realize by now that there is no such thing as the "war to end all wars".

This is precisely the kind of pinko, commie, bleeding-heart liberal propaganda that is dragging this country down and tying one hand behind its back as it tries to defend itself.

The fact is that Iran can and should be the next target in the WOT. We are not constrained by our military commitments in other countries - you know why? Cause we have nukes. A pre-emptive nuclear strike now - before the mullahs can get their hands on their own nukes - is the best and perhaps only option to deal with them. We can't even be sure where their nuke plants are - so a conventional attack will not do the job. We have to launch an all-out nuclear assault.

The effect of this will be to utterly destroy the political, military and financial support that the current Iranian regime gives to terrorists; it will kill large numbers of actual/potential terrorists; and it will send a shocking, stunning message to the rest of the arab region and the world that Americans are no longer afraid to do whatever it takes to defend themselves.

"But won't this invite condemnation from other countries?" Who gives a sh*t what they think. "What about the millions of 'innocent' civilians?" Well, Iranians are not known for their love of the US. Are they really innocent? And frankly, if innocents must die to resolve this conflict, then I'd rather they were non-Americans.

Yes, it's shocking. But only because our modern ideas of what is 'moral' are the product of decades of liberal, hippie-commie indoctrination. What is moral about allowing an evil anti-American regime to prosper and gain nuclear weapons? We have the means at our disposal; we have a right to use them if we deem it necessary. Historians will take care of the rest.
