Perhaps they should have been reading the Prowler's post in the American Spectator where he quoted DNC and Kerry campaign sources as saying that they had the documents in their pocession and higher ups decided how they would be handled.
The Prowler gets a lot of stuff right. So the DUmmies may want to be cautious.

Burkett's atty was Dave VanOs. He was the dem candidate running for the Texas Supreme Court. He was also the a Democrat Party Chair for a well know South Texas area.
OH...and on his own web site...he had pictures of himself talking at a Howard Dean rally.....OH..and he also campaigned for John Kerry.
So, in short. The DUmmies may want to look at the following path-
Kerry Campaign/DNC produces fake documents--
Passes them on to Burkett's one time Atty--
Who passes them to Burkett--
Who, after having the meeting set up with CBS by Democrats (yeah, lets not forget that little tidbit of BOOM!),
Copies/ faxes the info from a West Texas Kinkos.
KEEP IN MIND- It was Dave VanOs that was the primary spokesperson defending Burkett when Burkett got busted.
AND HE HAD NOT BEEN BURKETT'S LAWYER FOR QUITE SOME TIME.
VanOs was not just doing damage control.....he was covering his own six!
That would have been very stupid of the DNC and the Kerry Campaign (to say they had the documents), wouldn't it have been. And, how did Karl Rove happen to get the fake documents to the DNC and the Kerry Campaign? --- oh yeh, secret agent man, Buckhead. ;-)
