Saint Hillary and Reverend Dean? Don’t believe it!
The American Thinker ^ | Feb. 18, 2005 | Christopher G. Adamo

Howard Dean, the new chairman of the Democratic National Committee, and Senator Hillary Clinton (D.-NY) jointly hold the dubious distinction of being the only major public figures with less credibility than Mahmoud Abbas.

Abbas, the recently elected successor to the late Yassir Arafat, alternately advocates peace and brotherhood with Israel, along with its total annihilation, depending on the particular audience he happens to be addressing. Likewise, both Dean and Clinton are on record as being not only the sworn enemies of conservatism, but also its truest of champions.

Although they disagree on specific tactics in their respective quests for power, and they undoubtedly hold contrasting views as to who should be running the Democrat Party (and ultimately, the country), they are nevertheless inseparably bonded by a devotion to the philosophies of liberalism. It is a mistake to believe the commonly proffered notion that their relationship is purely adversarial.

I would not be underestimating Hillary. She is probably the odds on favorite to be our next president.

"I would not be underestimating Hillary. She is probably the odds on favorite to be our next president."

Then you're misestimating (misoverestimating?). I can tell you as someone who used to hobnob in Dem circles and who still has many Dem acquaintances that she is extremely unpopular within the core of the Dem party. She's managed to alienate just about everyone in there with some of her stands, and the rest of her country with her other stands. Depending on how effective a campaign Giuliani (or Colin Powell?) runs against Hillary in NY, she may even lose her Senate seat.

And now Edwards has come into the wind. In the interview with George Stepalloverus he says The Lord guides my life, .... and I believe in a woman's right to choose and I don't believe life begins at conception but we need to do what we can to minimize abortions and find common ground with people who have other views....(my paraphrasing but pretty close) How can you tell if a Liberal is lying???....if they are talking...maybe? Whadda sleasy weasel.
