Dean is probably playing about two leagues over his ability.

First week, the Republicans set a trap, he looks at the trap, sticks his foot into it.

Can he keep quiet?

No, he makes noise which calls attention to the association between himself and Stewart. The news will repeat this (for the Republicans' benefit) until Dean wises up, and STFU.

Can you say: "minor leaguer?" I doubt he will last 4 years.

I believe he sees this as his stepping stone back as a Presidential contender. Ha. Ha.

Smart fish know they have to take the bait, to get caught.

Correction: stuck his face in the trap

Can he keep quiet?

Please God lets hope not. Every time he opens his mouth some Republican somewhere gets 10,000 votes

Dean will not wise up. Several reasons. He carves the spotlight in a desparate way that equals any Hollywood idiot and the media knows that he's always got some potentially explosive quote on any subject. I don't think he really cares about winning as long as the cameras are paying him attention.

Can you say: "minor leaguer?" I doubt he will last 4 years. Where this is worng is that you underestimate the fact that Howard the Deany reflects the core group of lefty-lib looney's that have siezed control of the Democrat party. Until another power block rises up and kicks them aside Deany and his ilk will ride high regardless of the number of seats and elections that the Dems lose. In fact losses may only serve to reinvigorate his base.
