I am a veteran and beyond concerned about this crap. I don't know what is going on in our military today so it is hard for me to tell -- but, being a vet of the Viet Nam era, it is impossible for me to conceive of a situation of "premeditated murder" IN A WAR ZONE -- unless it was one of our own.

I smell the strong odor of fish here...I don't think the charge will stick. It had better not otherwise we will have service men who may think twice before making a move on the battle field, for fear of being sued and charged when they returned home from battle --- that is if the enemy did not kill them first, as they were thinking about it ----

This is an unacceptable situation and I smell socialists behind it...

Mike Savage devoted his whole show to this case today. It seems that ACLU, big media outlets and other leftest organs are flooding the Pentagon with FOIA requests and lawsuits in a fishing expedition for more Abu Ghraib type scoops. This is why this man has been charged months after returning from the war, after his superiors found the charges without merit when the incident happened. When the press 'found' the case records they would point to it as a cover up. So they charge him, put him at risk of the death penalty, smear his reputation, and put him and his family in the crosshairs of jihadi-monkeys. All to avoid heat from leftist lawyers and journalists whose goal is to aid the terrorsits by making American soldiers and Marines hesitate one second too long.
