Ok.. so she'd willfully rejected divine axionms. Why would a person raised in absolutes do that?

So this is the big announcement you promised yesterday afternoon?

How tragic for this young girl, whatever her problem, that you choose to humiliate her on this forum.

You accuse her of being used by political operatives?

Well, what, pray tell, are YOU doing by posting this thread.

Come on. You might as well ask why people own things just because they paid for them. It's part of the human condition. Every person with self-awareness makes that decision.

Alan Keyes has a tragic flaw. He says out loud what many think, but won't admit to.

You mean he doesn't have enough sense to keep his mouth shut when the situation requires it?

As such, we should defer judgment on the way Alan Keyes handles his family life to God.

No problem with that.... However this sounds a little like the pot and kettle... Maybe Alan should learn to let others handle their family life with God also and keep out of it in public.

JMO..... I wish him the Keyes family the best in dealing with the turmoil but if they choose to bring it to the front either themselves or through their spokes people then it becomes fair game for those that choose to participate.

You have a good one........

Exactly, Alan is letting his political operatives disperse a press release here or there and letting others fend for him. Sad for someone who claims not to hide behind anything.

Our side didn't bring it out in public, neither Cheney nor Keyes. The other side did because they know we have "friends" like you to contend with.

Well, what, pray tell, are YOU doing by posting this thread.

What were YOU doing by bringing up your deceased child when Ms. Keyes is not deceased?

You wanna play dirty? Let's play dirty.

The other side did because of people like Alan who have put forward these "absolutes". Now, not all people on the right subscribe to the harsher side of the absolutes and admit that there is still a lot to learn about these issues while not caving in to the other side. There are others that believe that sis is sin, it's a choice so damn those who paticipate. I'm like many of the others. I think three's more to it than just a choice, but I won't cave into the thoughts and actions of the other side.

When those absolutes became an issue, the other side does us it to exploit conservatives. Why? Because we haven't yet figured out how to handle them. Stay with the absolute and we appear harsh. Waffle and we appear wishy washy. That's why it makes news and that's why Alan got asked the question and he responded to the selfish hedonist question. He then made himself appear harsh and out of touch.

I will admit there are some on this forum who have it in for Alan simply because he appeared to attack Cheney's daughter and has at times been at odds with the President. I also will admit that there are some on this forum that will defend some of Alan's more strange actions and statements. I've seem some of the most unusual literary gymnatics on this forum when it comes to defending the President by the "Bushbots" and the "Keysters" who defend Alan.

I'm trying to get to the bottom of what makes otherwise good people who have been raised in the absolutes go "bad".

First of all, I'd be honored to be formally working for the Keyes organization, however I'm not.

This article will not appear on RenewAmerica.us.

Secondly, I've not humiliated her on this thread, nor was that my intent, only to show where the statements being made in the press are not as true as they sound. She has said in news reports, that she has nothing to hide that's on the Blog, so what's on the Blog is now fair game. It wasn't when she was pulling articles last September.

You just don't get it do you?

You've posted this to chastize her and get Alan's "side" out there without him having to say a word; he felt free to do that with Mary Cheney.

Even if you are not working for him, shame on you for the way you spoke to her.

Whether this is news or not is for someone else to decided; but you announced yesterday you'd have some news later on; one is left to assume you either got it from somebody that DOES work for him or you made this happen.

It's a sad statement about the lengths people will go to, IMO.

Absolutely not.

I refuse to be intimidated by "Wellstoning."

Neither you nor Keyes has been a victim of "Wellstoning." You've both done it to yourselves.

Adam, why are you trying to reason with demagogues? They are telling you where you can drill, then blaming you for not finding water.

Naturally you have to make this about me. You guys are unbelievable.

I say what I think around here, just like everyone else. If you don't like it, you can cry to Jim. Maybe you'll get lucky and he'll ban me, and then you'll be one step closer to your apparent goal of having everyone think just like you.
