Man, she must have REALLY been spouting some liberal s$$t for you to give up such a sweet deal. And the sad thing is, no one would blame you for sticking it out. HAHAHA
BTW, what do you ride?

I dated a woman from Seattle who was very liberal and spouted all of the nonsense you hear on DU. It was only the fact she was very beautiful, had a hot body, and could fold up into more positions than a Swiss Army Knife that allowed me to tolerate her longer than I should have.
Didn't Robin Williams make an excellent comment explaining that phenomenon?

THAT'S IT! There are only a few radical liberals in this country, but they just keep recycling them.

Their pathological selfishness prevents them from seeing another viewpoint besides their own. Ah, but there is no other viewpoint besides their own, doncha see.

I can tell you, they have been breaking away from family members right and left. Especially in the days after the election. What gets me is they will post inane threads like "OMG! My Mother Voted for Bush!" and go on about how they want to exile themselves from their family.
What's funny about those threads (I Just Screamed at RW Brother and Ran Out in the Middle of Thanksgiving Dinner, Ask Me Anything), is that 99.9% of the time they admit that they're the ones who initiated the drama at the family reunion. Yet it was the relative's fault for not sharing their opinion. These folks who are estranging themselves from their families are going to learn a hard lesson someday when they're in a bind and realize that their online family isn't going to give them the help and support they need to make it through.

PJ hit the main point here. In the lefts eyes Churchill's only sin was actually saying what he thought. For decades these lefty-libs have hid who they really are. Finally they are being hoest about themselves and coming out of their camouflage.
Be happy for the libs. It must be hard to pretend that you are something other than what you really are every minute of every day.

Yeah, all those foreign aid dollars are acts of terror.

What happened is she opened an office in Hawaii and moved there for a year. In the mean time I met my current Beyonce/Halle Barry type MD girlfriend. I met this one on line on a Sportbike site.
I ride a 2002 Yamaha R1 and have an old CBR F2 for a track bike. My doctor girlfriend rides a CBR929.

On another topic, Ward Churchill himself, he should be treated as nothing less than as an enemy of this country. If you've seen the man speak he absolutely hates America and wants to see it wiped out.
An unfortunate byproduct of this kerfuffle is the opportunities it has given so-called Indian movement to act as protectors of Churchill. One had forgotten how tiresome they are.

I think what happened to the Indians was an inevitable clash of cultures and they were out manned. In many places the Indians and the new settlers co existed and got along OK. My grandmother remembers that in the 1860's when she was a small child in east Texas, the Indians would come to her house. They stood around in the yard and when my great grandmother went out they told her "me want coffee, me want sugar". Ggranny would fix coffee and take it out to them and then they would leave. They were very peaceful people, had they taken ggrannie's scalp or stolen one of the children they would haven been hunted down. In the hill country of Texas I have read that the Indians and the settlers did not fare so well. The Indians in the hill country were Apaches and in east Tx they were Choctaws.
