Weekly Bill award

The bill award is given to the politician that does the one thing, that week, that makes it appear that unlike former impeached President Clinton, they did inhale.

And this weeks bill award for absolute, had to be stoned out of his mind when he said it, stupidity goes to none other than Maine's own governor, former dishwasher turned state rep, state senator, Us congressman and now, God help us, Governor of Maine.... John E. Baldacci.

Governor Baldacci is upset because Maine's bond debt load is 40% less than the national average. What Baldacci fails to understand is that Maine only has a 1.3 million people, it is the amongst the poorest most underpaid, highest taxed states in the country, therefore by default one of, if not the worst managed state in the county.

While we are convinced that, as the Democrat State Senator said at the Democratic convention back last fall, "John Baldacci was over his head when he was washing dishes in his mommas restaurant", even for Baldacci, this justification of wanting higher bond packages is pure and utter stupidity. You have to wonder if Governor Baldacci ever thinks before he speaks. We don't think so, John Baldacci, this weeks Bill Award recipient, open mouth insert both feet and out pours pure unmitigated stupidity.

So, we congratulate John, for he is, thank God, one of a kind and a true disciple and emulator of bill.
