I agree, it is a 'lifestyle'.....regarless of sexual orientation.
Sounds like they might be bi-sexual.
It wont matter in the long run, whether or not they are all homosexual. Hedonistic heteros will eventually succumb and spread it around.

NEW YORK (Reuters) Feb 03 - Two New Yorkers have been diagnosed with lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV), which is rare in the region but is spreading among gay and bisexual men in Europe, the city health commissioner said on Wednesday.
"LGV is a serious condition and its emergence in New York City reflects continuing high levels of unsafe sexual activity among men who have sex with men," Health Commissioner Thomas Frieden told a news conference.
"Unprotected anal intercourse, in particular, is extremely risky in terms of the spread of LGV as well as HIV," he added.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta has confirmed six recent cases in the United States, including three cases in San Francisco and one in Atlanta.
Among the cases identified thus far, most have also had HIV infection, Frieden said.
The Netherlands has reported 92 cases of LGV dating back to 2003 and Belgium, France, Sweden and Britain have also reported infections.
Most people infected report having multiple sex partners and engaging in unprotected anal intercourse and other high-risk practices, officials said.

I know this is the latest in cultural expression...but every time I hear it, all I can picture are two praying mantis (or is it mantises?) "hooked up" together, one atop the other.

Saltnlight has hopefully read enough of God's word to be well aware that we are to EXPECT this. I agree with her on all other points, and with you, Lindykim, that sexual morality problems and their consequences exist for ALL(even so-called Christians).
We must concentrate on the great commission, therein lies the ONLY hope. Hitting non-believers over the head with the Bible, trying to legislate revival-never gonna fix it that-o-way.
But,WilliamWallace, it doesn't matter if it is 100% Homosexual now....just like aids....it WILL spread to the heterosexual crowd. A lot of heteros are no better at monogamy or 'safe sex' than are the gay bunch.
indeed, it won't be long before it is men AND women since women get the garden variety of chlamydia, interesting to wonder why the mutation now.....
chlamydia has been on the rise amongst heterosexuals in the last five years, esp since the problem with garden variety chlamydia is it often presents no symptoms until it is too late, I don't think it is as harmful to men as women, women can become infertile if it is left untreated too long....
however I have read that there is a great concern that young gay males are not practicing safe sex as the previous generation of gay males, faced with friends dying of AIDS regularly, were....no doubt due to the fact that AIDS is no longer the death sentence it was in the West but come on, how stupid can you be......
besides you can't say gay men have brought nothing good to the world,
some of the great artists, entertainers, writers, interior decorators, fashion designers, and hairdressers have been gay males

OK, guys -- what it is: This NEW scourge – like AIDS -- is largely a BEHAVIOR RELATED CONDITION!
Bill Clinton's CDC released figures a few years ago reflecting that fully
85% of all AIDS/HIV cases are:
1. Active, non-monogamous homosexuals (the largest subset);
2. Heterosexuals and bisexuals who have had sex with group 1; and
3. IV drug abusers who share needles.
(Kinda gives new meaning to Romans 6:23, doesn't it?)
The remaining 15% (the REAL “victims” of AIDS!!) are those who have contracted AIDS via other, non-sexual/non-drug means SUCH AS TRANSFUSIONS OF TAINTED BLOOD (which one homosexual "leader" on the West Coast URGED his fellow homosexuals to CONTINUE to attempt to contaminate in order to involve the straight community in the push to increase federal funding for AIDS research).

I'd guess the stats in Africa are equally appalling -- and worse. There was a report some time ago (which has apparently now been deemed too non-PC to remain in the US press) that some adult male HIV infectees are raping girls aged 2 after hearing that doing so would "cure" AIDS. That sort of behavior redefines "ignorance" and suggests that pouring MORE US tax money down that rathole will have little or no impact on the problem.
Disease is not fair -it needs a host and a method of transmission to spread. In all fairness, sodomy with multiple partners -like drunk driving -- is a but disaster waiting to happen...
Reports are that they're all 'gay'. But how long before it's reported among 'bi-sexual' types and the females they've hooked up with?
One of the arguments made by 'gays' with regards to their contention that there are no differences between them and heterosexuals is the fact that heterosexuals are also "diseased"
They point to STDs among school kids and university students to back up their claim. They likewise point to the fact that heterosexuals are big porn users and that most porn is homosexual sado-masochistic in nature.
They also point to the high percentage of divorces and to how many heterosexuals are 'shacking up.'
So how can we say we aren't "like them" when by our actions we show that we are occupying a level not too very far removed from their own?
I've debated many 'gays' and heterosexual failings are their 'ace' card.
