The teacher was "advised" by the principal that he would have to run materials through her after the 13 complaints came in. I believe this was as much to protect him as it was to make sure he was in compliance with the State Code of Education.
Other Christian teachers have not been "disciplined" as you put it. Williams evidently crossed a line, and it must have been a huge crossing because we are extremely tolerant of people's beliefs, and as you can see in the parents website, have had Christmas and Hanukkah presentations for the kids with no complaints at all!
Some of the complaints against Williams, by the way, came from Christians parents. The fact that we have an ethnically diverse community doesn't mean that other ethnicities are not Christian. In fact, most Asians I know around here belong and attend Christian churches of different denominations.
