posting an article opens a dialogue for discussion. If you are not willing to hang around for the dialogue you have opened, don't bother posting the article. Many people post an article that they know other freepers will find interesting, that does not impose some obligation to continue a dialog about said topic. Do you think Kattracks other others need to stick on every thread they start? There are many types of people here. Some who only reply to existing threads but never start one. Some who start many, but don't make personal comments a lot, some who post frequently to many different threads. Who are you to tell people the 'proper' way to do this. In your couple months here, do as you wish, but don't tell me or others how to behave on this site - that is rude.

"Do you think Kattracks other others need to stick on every thread they start?"
Of course not! But let's say you just joined within the last several days. If you do any lurking at all before you start posting you immediately see there is a problem with "drive byes". If you are a newbie, which on FR is a coupla years apparently, it would just be common courtesy to respond and make yourself available to scrutiny by those weeding out the idiots.
I have found if an article needs posting, it generally gets posted more than once. As I am still a newbie to most here I find it much easier to search and comment on topics I am interested in. It keeps me quite busy. A heck of a lot of these articles are nothing more than a waste of bandwidth. I suggest "manny613" kick back and get to know the way things are done around here before posting and fleeing. This is just good common sense. Unless of course his object was to cause discord. Which apparently he has succeeded in doing.

Isn't it wonderful! The grownups in the Gov't are still in charge.
"W" is still President,
Condi is SOS
And, we are "happy as pigs in slop"(Dan Rather quote).
We have all done great work during the election, and now instead of searching for posts on Skerry and Teresa's latest fiasco, or wringing our hands with worry and drama like most DUmmies, all we have to do is wait for the ZOT ping, and the DUFU's! Oh life is good :) LOL
We deserve a short respite for our efforts!

There are a lot of articles posted from JewishWorldReview.com here at FR. That is not any indication of a Troll.Well I would have posted several of them had manny613 not already, so I guess that confirms my status as a troll. manny613, my only suggestion include a little more of the artilce so readers can get some of the flavor. You can include up to 300 words, and if you go over, FRs software will tell you so you can delete the excess before posting.

Human history has proven that you violate the ten commandments AT YOUR OWN PERIL. They are not the way to heaven. They are the way to a more robust and fruitful life. They are like a "maintenence manual" for the care and feeding of the human machine.
Yeah, it takes work to obey the commandments. It takes work to change the oil in your car, but calling someone a "party pooper" because they say you should change your oil every 7k miles or so is a little silly - and narcissistic.

so I guess that confirms my status as a troll. You are not a troll. Hardly. In fact I am on your ping list and I would never think of calling you a troll.
On the other hand if someone just post-and-runs is a possible sign of trolling. Just sniffing it out that's all.

I didn't think you or anyone was (at least on this thread :>). FR can be an intimidating place to post at times. You have to look to the source and the article posted. There's nothing out of the mainstream in any of these, which would make me conclude it's a poster getting his/her feet wet by posting articles. It's the coverse of posters who are glad to post comments, but for some reason intimidated by posting articles.

All he/she has to do is say "Hi" and all will be well. I doubt they will get flamed for what was posted. The articles easily pass the sniff tests.

I only found FR because of an article I read about the dan rather BS in people magazine. The article mentioned the specific person (Buckhead?)who noted the font did not match.
I had to sit back for a few weeks to learn the basic alphabet soup terms like DUmmieland.
The ZOT threads are hilarious!
To: MeekOneGOP; darkwing104
Yeah, it was pretty intense, but I'll survive. This is the third time they have operated. Guess they got tired of repair work so did an R&R.

I don't believe it specifically states that he drank it.
It was his brother's wedding party. They ran out of wine. Jesus turned the water into wine. If not to drink it, what reason would he turn water into wine?
